That's why I LOVE being a member at Clickin' Moms. Whether I need a little boost of inspiration, or have questions about how to do something specific in my editing software, I can always find someone willing to chat with me and share what they know. I've learned so much in the short time I've been a member.
Go take a peek over at Clickin' Moms and read a few recent blog posts or cruise through the forums. And don't be put off by the name - there are members of all kinds (many who aren't moms, and even a few guys hanging around!). If you like what you see, go ahead and give membership a try (their trial memberships are a great way to try the community out, but you won't regret purchasing an annual or lifetime membership, either - I guarantee you'll get your money's worth).
Here's the best part: I have one lifetime membership to give away!!! That's a $195 value!
*note that this giveaway is only open to new members. If you join during the month of June and win this giveaway, Clickin Moms will refund your membership purchase.*
To enter, simply leave me a comment telling me your number one photography goal.

ReplyDeleteMy goal is to learn to like my new Canon T3i as much as I liked my Nikon D40 which I never took off auto and it took amazing pictures. I don't love this Canon and it's got to be ME, not the camera and I need to figure out why and how I can fix this so I can love this one too. I've messed with the TV, AV, P - well, all the buttons and well, good thing pictures are digital and I can take 200-300 an hour and not think anything of it. I need help - I need to get off the "auto" because the T3i on auto doesn't work for me and I hate to keep thinking this was a big mistake buying this camera. Thank God for Lightroom but I don't want to depend on it the way I do today.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for a wonderful opportunity to be a part of a close knit community of people who truly want to help others.
Suzy
My #1 goal with photography is to be technically good enough to capture images the way I see them in my head, and use my photography to bless my family and my clients with beautiful images of their precious memories. Also, I would love to turn my passion for photography into a real business. I have dabbled for a long time, but have not yet taken the plunge!

I SO hope I win!!! I would LOVE THIS!!!!!
My number one goal is to learn to take photos with my Canon all in manual! I have had the camera for a year and still haven't taken the time to learn it. I'm so afraid that I will be too slow and will miss the shots that I want to take of my boys. So once I learn to shoot in manual, I need to practice, practice, practice! :)
ReplyDeleteLiked you on Facebook. :)
ReplyDeleteI just want to get the camera off Auto and onto manual :).. at least once in a while, LOL
ReplyDeleteI'd love to learn how to use my Canon Powershot Pro1 to its fullest

ReplyDeleteLove your photos! I don't really use fb, but I'll be happy to follow your blog!
ReplyDeleteMy photography goal is to learn how to capture that perfect moment, my photos turn out ok but someone is always blinking or hair is in the face, or there's a blurry hand... there's gotta be a trick to it!!
My goal is just to improve in both composition and technical skills to where I can really love my photos and capture what I see in my head.
ReplyDeleteMy goal is to better understand my camera in manual mode! I am still having to post process quite a bit so I want to just take better photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks!

ReplyDeleteThough I'd like to own a fancier camera someday, that isn't in the cards right now. So, I'd have to say that my #1 Photography Goal is to learn about and make the best use of the little digital camera that I have right now, learning to take photos that will recall great memories to my family for years to come.

I was just looking at clickin moms and really wishing I could afford to join. I just started doing photography after a long "love affair" with it. I invested in a Canon 60D that I might be paying on for the next century (lol).
ReplyDeleteMy number one goal right now is to learn to photograph kids. I don't know enough to get the great shots of the kids. I can do all the others. I am a mom but my son passed away after he was born so I don't have anyone to practice on unless a friend or family member loans me their kids for a couple hours (lol) So with limited practice time and a love for it, I need to be where I can get the best tips to help me learn.
